The Marlborough School District is currently accepting applications for the following positions.

Spanish Teacher

At Marlborough Elementary School, we aim to provide an educational experience that affords every student with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions to think critically, communicate effectively, and contribute productively while demonstrating respect for and kindness towards one another.

We are seeking to hire an inspirational and highly effective Spanish teacher to teach grades K-6 for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, renewable position housed within our one district school. Applicants should be deeply knowledgeable in F.L.E.S. programming with a record of successfully engaging children in the joy of language acquisition. Paraeducator

Building Substitute

Marlborough Elementary School is seeking candidates for a building substitute position for the 2024-25 school year. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent and have some experience with school-age children. Substitute rates for teachers and paraeducators: $110 per day ($55 for half-day)

PLEASE CONSIDER BECOMING A SUBSTITUTE: We can use your help. Applications are always accepted for substitute teachers (college degree or waiver from the State required), paraeducators, custodians, and nurses (Connecticut RN license and valid CPR & First Aid certification). Substitute rates for teachers and paraeducators: $110.11 per day ($55.06 for half-day)

SUBSTITUTE NURSE: We are currently in need of anyone interested in being a substitute for our school nurse on an as needed basis.

Substitute nurse rate of pay: $35.00 per hour
